Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
Molly began her yoga journey while on the path of dance. From the first class, first sustained breath, first transcendent experience of meditation she was forever changed. It was a new found freedom, a healing. The overuse and abuse of the body while performing professionally had finally found balance, not only physically but spiritually. She’s dedicated 21 years to teaching dance and the last 14 years teaching yoga as well. Yogic knowledge, applied with her studies of kinesthetics, anatomy, and physics all contribute to a strong foundation from which students can benefit indefinitely.
Meditation class at Alive Yoga is offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 6:30pm-8:000pm led by Samuel. The evening includes a 40-min sit followed by a brief talk and time for questions/discussion. Samuel’s approach to meditation is aimed at helping people relax and rest in the wisdom of the body and heart. Meditation transforms our lives and our identities so we become more fully present, available and authentic in the world. Please bring your own cushion or chair if possible. One can be provided for you, but options are limited.

Meditation & Yoga Teacher
Matthew began the spiritual and yogic path as a teenager, first learning Hatha and chi kung, tai chi and Goju. He created the Tara Yoga and Meditation Center in Hawaii in 2001 and ran retreats and wild dolphin journeys for many years there, specializing in yoga-assisted fasting, personal growth and transformation, and breathwork training. He has trained with many yogis over the years in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga and Kundalini. He uses breathing as the foundation for both inner awareness, peace, and energy cultivation.
Allyson Bray (NTS, HHP, LMT)
Yin Yoga Teacher
I began my journey into the world of bodywork, yoga and movement with a desire to better understand our relationship with the primal life force. I have sought to learn how to facilitate, encourage and nurture the flow of this energetic current within myself and others. This inquiry led me to become a Holistic Health Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist (2001), Natural Therapeutic Specialist (2007) and a Yoga teacher (2014). My classes are designed to generate healing and restore harmony by re-establishing balance in the physical and subtle bodies. The practice of yin yoga activates the innate self-healing ability of the body, mind and spirit, allowing vitality to flow freely. My goal is to assist fellow yogis in achieving balance, integrity and alignment on all levels.
